Your digital accessibility impact

AccessiWay's main purpose is to have a positive impact.
Therefore we thought it was meaningful to start including numbers related to how web accessibility can bring impact on people with disabilities.

Edoardo Arnello, CEO, and Dajana Gioffrè, CVO, speaking on stage at Accessibility PridePart of the AccessiWay team along with Dajana and her guide dog, Camillaconference organized by AccessiWay with a presentation bearing the motto "we make the web a better place"

As we often say, "accessibility is a journey" because, when working with people, there are always different ways to improve and make the digital world more usable. Our experience with people with disabilities and with assistive technologies, as well as our knowledge of the obstacles encountered on the web, have enabled us to calculate the impact that services and advice on digital touchpoints have on the user experience.

How did we get to this number?

Disability data is complex and not homogeneous across the world.
The calculation that allowed us to arrive at this number includes consideration of the following variables:

Purpose of the site
Digital divide
Users with disabilities
Impact of each service on each disability
Average website visitors
Depth of intervention
Digital skills of visitors
